What we collect, and why
We only collect personal information if you choose to send it to us using our contact form.
- Your name, email address, telephone number, organisation and message. Used solely to respond to your enquiry, and to carry out any work that follows from it. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, meaning replying to someone who has contacted us about our services, and, where an enquiry becomes an engagement, performance of a contract.
- The IP address the form was submitted from. Used only to limit automated abuse of the form, and held for one hour. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in keeping the website secure.
Providing this information is entirely voluntary, but we cannot reply to an enquiry without at least a name and an email address. We do not make any automated decisions about you.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. It does load a typeface from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google and Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
Who sees it
Enquiries are delivered to our own mailboxes and read only by our staff. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for marketing. Our website and email are run by our hosting provider, which processes the data on our behalf under contract. We will disclose information where we are legally required to do so.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Where an enquiry becomes an engagement, we keep the records for 6 years after that work ends, to meet our contractual, insurance and legal obligations.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email contact@mstraffic.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
